    December 5, 2020 - A solid showing. Recently purchased.
Still rather sweet and many years ahead. Doesn’t have a cutting acidity and perhaps a touch simple but the sweetness could be masking both slightly. Nothing special but a very decent, very enjoyable sweet Kab.

July 16, 2020 - Green apple and lime on the nose. Quite sweet, but the zippy acidity keeps it tasting fresh. Still tastes very young. Hardly any of that petrol note that you would expect from a bottle this old. Goes down all too easily.

May 5, 2019 - Very nice kabinett riesling. Like many Dr. Loosen bottlings, this is fairly sweet with very low alcohol, 7.5%, in contrast to most quality rieslings which are more fully fermented. Not as minerally as the Wehlener Sonnenuhr, however in a similar style. Easy to like for those appreciate high quality yet prefer low alcohol wines.

March 31, 2018 - Absolutely beautiful. Drinking in early maturity. The quality of the acids is a hallmark of this wine. Spritz and zingy, they add lift and texture to the medium sweetness level and the clear and direct fruit. Bottle age character is adding dimension to the finish. Certainly outstanding. (with Moss, Ken, Madelene, and Justine)

November 30, 2015 - Crisp and loaded with fruit, slightly petrol minerality on the nose, good acidity, in short everything a good Kabinett should be. still years ahead of it in the cellar.
