December 24, 2012 - Wow. A gift on Christmas Eve!!! Very light in color; Rich, ripe peach and pear nose. The 14.8 abv is there. ; velvet on the tongue, tangerine, hints of mineral and flint occur before the long and smooth finish. I wish we had more.

September 20, 2012 - Tangerine, ripe pear, ripe stone fruit, cedar, and a little tropical fruit on the nose. Lemon, stone fruit, apple, and spice on the palate. Good acidity and finish. The mouthfeel is fantastic. It must be the perfect pH, as it just sits perfectly in the mouth and glides down the throat. Very nice and waaay too easy to drink. Would buy again.

July 12, 2012 - I agree with Oakjeff's description of the flavors, but I think the wine is starting to show its age. You certainly need to finish the bottle as soon you open it, since it showed significant oxidization/aging by the next day even though it was refrigerated.

July 31, 2011 - This wine is fantastic, great fruit, great body, almost red wine like in mouth feel.

April 14, 2011 - Medium in color. On the nose, I got green & golden apples, pear and some butter. The mouthfeel is rather full and is soft & round. All continued to the palate which also has some subtle vanilla. Fairly restrained and elegant. Nice, long finish. I hope they still have some in stock when I get up there next. This has at least another 18-24 months in it.
