March 24, 2024 - Nice garnet colour with bricking a cm down from the rim. On the nose, aromas of wilted roses, spices, slight forest floor, balsam wood and cherries. On the palate, the attack is frank, fairly intense, with the fruit and spices from the palate, but also a good lift and quite present dusty tannins. This is way more interesting than the 2003! A good length and persistence - very nice with an osso bucco, no rush to drink, at peak.

My oldest Barolo at this point and ultimately a nice experience.
