October 30, 2023 - Opened and tasted then slow aeration for 2 hours and what a difference. It picked up weight and complexity with time. beautiful aromas of earth and just a touch of barnyard compliment the mature fruits. very nice balance on the palate, middle weight with tannins fully integrated as you’d expect. Drink now.

April 14, 2016 - Medium-purple and a hint of brick. An abundance of fine sediment necessitated careful decanting. Dried fruit, meaty and floral notes on the nose. Lighter body with attenuated flavors of red and dark berries, licorice and provencal herbs. Fully mature with quite a short finish. Drink up.

July 6, 2014 - fantastic! not funky/bretty like the other famous cdp from the same year, but softened tannin with tons of ripe fruit notes cdp is famous for. all the harsh alcohol was softened with the test of time. truly pleasurable wine to accompany bbq with asian accents.

October 31, 2011 - The joker in the pack but this really confused all of us trying to guess which part of burgundy it was from. There was some sweet fruits but also Pommard like Leather yet NSg structure. But when it was revealed we finally understood why. Aged cdps are definitely v close to aged burgs. I quite like it as what it was with nicely aged tea leave fruits.

October 29, 2011 - Beautiful nose, wet socks, wet cardboard, stewed riped plums on the nose. Ripe red fruit, ripe raspberries, strawberries, tea leaves, some bubblegum and candy and lavender. Still showing good acidity.
