May 18, 2011 - this ruby-velvety value holds a gorgeous aroma full of flowers, berry pie and spice, air softens the juice, which shows clean, rustic and vivid character, leather, violets, fresh berries, cinnamon and cassis, very solid for the price, well balanced, perfect for a thunder-storm-candle-light-pepperoni-French-Bread-pizza-TV-dinner night, perfect match indeed.
Had again with a vegetable lasagna and it was superb, agree with previous note, delicious -

Popped and poured. lighter garnet. Aromatic, with coffee grounds, saddle leather, dark berries, flowers and bacon fat. The finish is light and the tannins are fruity and silky. A perfect pasta wine and enjoyable on it's own. A refreshingly semi-complex and a relaxing mouth feel. Judiciously acidic. No need to wait. Drink now - 2013.
