December 30, 2012 - Good, still kicking, took an hour to come together. A lot of fruit still and while no superstar this really is great value.

Carefully cellared, cork closure 90 pct preserved.
Clear, dark garnet color with a vivid presentation to the eye. Crisp acidity with drying tannins.
A full velvet mouth with a long aromatic finish.
Prominent blackberry and cherry to the nose with black pepper undertones. -

September 24, 2010 - The wine shows some wonderful aromas in the nose - cassis, berries, touch of mocha. Upon tasting, the wine reveals balanced acidity with relaxed tannins. The same nose surfaces along with delicate terroir of leather, oak. For the price, this is a tough wine to beat. I have an italian dinner tomorrow and my last bottled is destined to be uncorked.
