October 13, 2023 - This was very nice but had a bit less tension and energy than the last bottle we had back in July. Not sure if this is in decline (I doubt it) or just bottle variation.

July 3, 2023 - Excellent Corton Charley, which showed surprisingly young given its on its 14th year. This was decanted and enjoyed over 1-2 hours with various French seafood dishes. The decant likely paid off, as this evolved and really came into focus over the course of the evening. Characteristic mineral and lemon citrus profile was enhanced by unusual weight and fullness. Really beautiful wine that stood up to every dish thrown at it and ultimately held our attention as the highlight of each course. This is drinking great, after a decant, and I suspect will continue to improve for some time.

February 5, 2023 - First taste without decanting was a bit disappointing - not enough acidity. But got progressively better over time. When we finished the meal after three hours, the wine was drinking beautifully and the lack of acidity was easier to overlook with other flavours more pronounced. Did not blow me away but it’s quite well made

January 20, 2023 - Decanted for ~4+hrs by the time we came to this. Served after a (blinded) duo of '17 Neillon Champgains and '18 Lamy Caillat Caillerets, this held its place/ground from a "showing" point-of-view, in that we could see the wines having a bigger "body/presence", weight... This was still very fresh, so none guessed a '09. Quite a bit of oak still present, amongst citrus/lemons, apples, stone (flavours), this certainly delivered... perhaps a slight bit less bold than the Lamy Caillat but certainly no slouch in terms of presence on the palate. Long finish with a bit of electricity as well. Very nice! Don't expect this to go downhill anytime soon...

January 27, 2022 - Darker color after the '12 Lafon Meursault; Very aromatic, reduction nuts, glue, apple skins, chalky rocky soil, lots of character, but structurally a little lacking; very nice wine, but did not go with muh at the sushi dinner. Asanebo w/Yarom and gang.
