  December 7, 2021 - An absolute joy. All I wanted was something full and tasty, I had complex and borderline stunning. Dark in color and flavor with plum, berry, soot, earth, spices. I think what makes this wine is the prominent acidity it has to go along with its full body. At $20USD, excellent QPR.
  
  A perfect pairing with a bistro burger and fries. But then what doesn't go with that.

  May 30, 2021 - Deep red/burgundy with some violet on the rim showing a bit of the age. Smoke on the nose mixing with blue fruit and plum. Nice flavors of pine, wet forest, some blue fruit. Acidity and tannins still good, but they have mellowed out nicely and help support the wine. The fruit is fading and my bottle was a bit past prime leaving a lot of secondary flavors without much fruit.

  April 21, 2020 - A revelation. This wine has now come into its own and was the total package. Good, bright red fruit - cherries. Integrated fine tannin. So glad that I used this to investigate the region.
