  February 9, 2013 - The wine is Garnet colored with fair complexity and medium body. It smells like lychee, cherry, and flint. The taste has those elements along with some minerality and a bit of forest floor. Pepper was notable early, but as it has had a chance to breathe, the edge is gone. The wine has Angular texture. The wine finishes Medium.

  May 12, 2012 - Cherry and raspberry on the front and mid palate. Spice on the back end. Medium bodied Pinot. very good. Glad I have a few more bottles.

  September 28, 2011 - For me, bright red fruit dominates the nose from the second the bottle is popped -- predominantly cherry and strawberry. Took about 30 minutes of air before the edge came off the wine, then a lovely, balanced palate of early red fruit is offset by a long, lingering spicy finish and nice acidity.

  July 17, 2011 - The nose was immediate and very fragrant. Complex aromas of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry. Medium-bodied. Intense flavors on the palate. Smooth, slight tartness, elegant spiciness on the finish. One of the best pinots I have had this year. 5,14,17,6=92
