  February 5, 2011 - Are you kidding me? This is a ridiculous bargain. Not much as far as aromas go, kinda basic. The lush fruit just explodes when you taste this. There is juicy plum, dried cherry, and little tomato juice. Long finish with moderate tannins. ($5)

  December 8, 2009 - From 375. Had this right after the cab (the two come together in a two pack for $10). Not quite as impressive this time as the cab, but close. Some chocolate notes and pretty good.

  October 24, 2009 - Drank the 02 cab earlier in the week and had very high expectations as the 02 cab was excellent. This merlot had much residue, tasted like lead, very tart...had cherries, chocolate and nice berries present, but it was touch to get past the metallic content of this wine. Much better merlots out there for the price.

  July 1, 2009 - very good wine for the price, has lots of flavor left in it, should be good though at least 2010 - 2011. Slight tannins, mainly plum and red fruits on the palate as others have stated.

  June 16, 2009 - After the first experience with this wine, I had the wife pick up a few more (I mean, $5 for a 375?). This time around I left with a better impression than the first. Nicely integrated wine that is drinking quite well. A little chocolate note detected this time. Still not spectacular, but a good quaff.
