April 21, 2012 - Lovely rosy gold in color, small bead. Classic nose of baked apples and yeast. Moderate acidity. More apple on the palate, which cuts off a bit earlier than one would like. Nice chalky minerality on the finish. A great food wine (picnic, anyone?), and a fine alternative to other California offerings as an everyday house sparkler.

December 25, 2011 - Light straw, crystalline complexion
Aromatic notes of yellow apple-skin, lemon curd and crushed rocks. Crisp and clean on the palate, nice verve of acidity. Slight yeast and apple character on the finish. Overall: Solid, not overly complex, but a very good everyday sparkler. -
