Community Tasting Notes 2

June 9, 2011 - Straw yellow in the glass this Aussie blend shows lemon curd and vanilla characters on the nose. The palate is medium to full bodied with good acidity and shows some signs of time in oak. A little buttery and earthy for my taste. (Tasted in British Airway's T5 Lounge, LHR)

September 4, 2010 - CULINA "Our Wines, Our Style" (Grand Ballroom, Marriott, Singapore): One of my favourite whites during the event. the 07 vintage had been a drier season in Victoria, so the grapes had benefited from a greater intensity of flavour despite a lower yield.

Nose: Lifted floral ginger notes and a distinct grape nose

Taste: Balanced flavour. Nice canteloupe and pears, tropical fruit and a little orange peel. Good freshness and acidity. A nice homage to Hermitage.
