August 20, 2021 - Drinking beautifully now. Earth, tobacco, spice, mineral. Soft, supple tannins, great complexity. It is firing on all cyclinders. 94 points.

January 1, 2021 - not decanted, was not needed.
very elegant and delicate nose, not exuberant with extreme depth and complexity, red fruits, paprika, curry aromas, tertiary notes such as leather, caramel, toffee, mushrooms.
palate: strawberry, rasberry, for me there are hints of baked aromas, caramelized fruits... tertiary aromas, some aromas that remind me of cognac. veryvery elegant and delicate, much freshness. over time there are high+ acidity, barely any tannins, medium finish.

March 28, 2018 - Decidedly old school and just starting to show something. The nose has a whiff of dried cranberry and cherry along with some earth and Autumnal leaves. The palate is bright and fresh and strewn with iron filings. There's sweetness that gains at the core and excellent rocky detail. It finishes with excellent cut and is persistent. Just entering a very long drinking window.

September 20, 2014 - Lille B, Oslo 20th of september 2014 (Lille B, Oslo): At restaurant Lille B in Oslo. Good mature nose of forest floor, dry leaves, mixed berrys, a bit of mud, some mint and liquorice. On the palate more one dimensional, feels younger and still a bit closed down. Good structure and balance and a fair amount of extract, but still not quite winning me over. Medium+ finish with earth and iron. A really good wine, but leaves me with the feeling that it did not realise its potential tonight.
