  June 26, 2013 - Although this wine style is made specifically for early drinking, it also aims to combine its freshness with some interesting complex characters. Thus, while the main components of this wine represent the traditional Margaret River blend of Semillon (51%) and Sauvignon Blanc (30%), there are also small amounts of three other grape varieties. The first of these, Chenin Blanc (5%), provides natural acidity, while the Chardonnay (4%), adds middle palate weight and the Riesling (3%) contributes attractive aromatics. Complexity is also enhanced by blending fruit from the Mangan Vineyard (68%) and Cullen Vineyard (32%), which have quite different characteristics.
