Aroma & Flavor Characteristics: Black plum, red plum, black cherry, vanilla, charred wood, baking spice, licorice. Fruit is ripe and cooked.
Other Observations:
Finish: M-
Quality: Good. Straightforward sweet ripe dark red flavors, but lacking complexity. The sweetness was not balanced by the acid.
Aging: Not suitable. -

August 15, 2008 - A better one of the inexpensive buys (speaking 2000s), did not buy more, but would not pass up at least 1 glass if offered at a bbq or gathering as even today seems to remain consistent. Was nice, heavy but not too much so, with nice fruit.
