  April 23, 2016 - I've had 3 bottles of this and they are consistently great bottles. Lots of primary red fruit still kicking around with medium body and medium finish. Fine tannins and enough acidity to keep it fresh for a couple more years.

  February 28, 2016 - Good fruit, red fruit, raspberry, blackberry and fine tannins. Best with our hamburger and with steak wrapped in bacon. This could age for a year longer -- or perhaps more -- and be more showy and complicated. Very good qpr at $20 close-out sale. I think I will try my next one in 2017 (mid-year) or Jan 2018.

  February 10, 2014 - Tanins still strong; could stand another couple of years in the bottle. Regardless, delicious blend with strong notes of dark red fruits and a mineral backbone.

  May 14, 2011 - Big ripe fruit of cassis and raspberry; sweet, silky, velvety, ripe, hot though. Big berry pie notes, but pure, and delicious!

  March 7, 2011 - This blend never let's me down. Solid every vintage and so plate-versatile. Balanced, soft dark metal minerality, slightly smokey and macerated tree fruits, smooth, perfect.
