March 11, 2024 - Lovely CDP on pizza Mundo. Rich wall of fruit. Drink now, but should last a while longer, but why wait. YUM.

October 1, 2023 - Showing well as a pop n pour, took no time to show ripe round fruit with some underbrush.
Not much structure left, but very enjoyable
Amazing for the $15 I paid from PremierCru

    -med dark red no bricking
    -pretty spicy dark grenache fruit
-med- acidity, full/med+ weight heady ripe but fading kirsch grenache fruit, finishes with moderate heat accentuating med- tannins
    -better a few years ago

March 31, 2023 - I expected more from this aged Usseglio Neuf - got a flat, somewhat tedious drinking experience - presumably fruit-fatigue combined w a lack of expression. Dark red purple, clearly aged-marked - hazy-unfiltered from first pour, less so after second glass. Nose-wise, flat restrained, ripe cherries & raspberries, wimpish & slightly tired, mild garrigues & white pepper. Palate medium-bodied, sweet-touched in style, velvety tannic structure, lacking acidity & character. Juicy w a bitter-dry finish. For immediate drink!
