  March 7, 2014 - A little closed on the nose, a hint of red cherry perhaps, but apart from a rich ruby colour, this doesn't give much away. Wonderfully balanced on the palate though - nice sour cherry, plenty of acidity to keep this medium bodied wine very fresh, a slight woody note on the finish. Very smooth tannins. This won't live much longer, but it's a pleasure to drink right now.

  June 19, 2012 - Solid little old-school Chianti, with extracted purple color, aromas of leather and black fruit that carry to palate with black cherry, saddle leather and earth in a medium bodied weight, and a medium finish. Nice structure and very food-friendly.

  March 7, 2012 - Moderately oaky and earthy aroma. Taste of oak and hint of cherry or black cherry. Crisp and pleasant in the mouth. Aerated glass served with cheeseburger and green beans.
