December 5, 2011 - Honeysuckle and thyme on the nose. The wine presented a little spicy on the palate... the alcohol a little imbalanced. The ensemble coming across a little hot and hollow to my tastes. Still there were some redeeming green anpple and anisette notes to bring it weight. Med finish.

May 28, 2011 - Despite being 60% barrel aged and fermented, there is a lack of ostentatious oak influence. Instead the nose shows fresh apple notes with minerality leading to lemon acidity on the finish.
