  February 22, 2018 - Good wine. Definitely past its prime. Had a nice character to it with a lot of wood backing. Began to die after 4-5 hours. Still enjoyable with some cheese or charcuterie.

  October 9, 2015 - I had low expectations given the other ratings here. I decanted an hour before drinking. Nose of almond, licorice and vanilla and a touch of barnyard. Silly smooth in the mouth with a medium long soft finish. I wish I had more drinking perfectly.

  January 1, 2012 - over the top, maybe needs more time. better with food than on its own. the regular quails gate old vines foch is drinking much, much better at this point. can't really see this resolving into something balanced, not a rebuy.

  November 1, 2011 - Same score as before. Drinking well now. detected more loam notes this time. Reminded me of some of the nice Chilean wines.
