May 14, 2023 - Nice spatlese but this bottle was lacking in acidity.

February 4, 2021 - Solid expression of a "village" spatlese from a great vintage. Lacked some of the pop you get from the best plots. Very enjoyable for its level. Great color. In a good spot, no major hurry to drink up but I think it might be just slightly on its way down.

April 18, 2020 - A great spatlese with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, the age on it has helped - drinking as good as it ever has and ever will right now.

June 15, 2018 - Balanced and very pure with great flavors of peach and green apple combined with classic mouth-watering acidity with just the right bit of sweetness. A really good German in mid-life.

November 12, 2011 - 10 Years Tasting (The same wines now and in 10 years) (Martin's House): Petrol, but that fades with a little bit of air. citrus, fresh, honey, molasses, a bit "rough" in a way but also very smooth, which makes no sense but that's kind of what it tastes like. very long and very elegant. Good stuff!
