Community Tasting Notes 5

January 29, 2014 - After reading some other notes, I decided to open this one and assumed it wouldn't be very good. I have to admit, I am quite surprised. The color is much "younger" than I expected and while it is a bit past its peak, it is still a pleasant bottle.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and mineral. It tastes like blackberry. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

April 14, 2010 - Nice soft mellow dusty fruit. The nose is a bit more lively that the palate with fresh fruit and bright flavours. Palate falls a bit short and oxidized with a hollow middle and clipped finish. Nice fruit but structure and balance is fading; drink up.

October 4, 2008 - Smokey bouquet, smooth, little tannins, fruity body, long finish.

September 14, 2003 - Deep, dark red color. Nice nose full of black fruits and some smoke. Nice, solid tannins. Medium to full body. Nice lingering aftertaste. Still has enough life for a couple more years cellaring.
