  August 6, 2013 - A pretty kind of nose with a solid dash of menthol. In the mouth there was nothing exciting, nor flamboyant. Zesty and spry with it's sweetness, dry and smooth in the back end. Very pleasing. And yes, somehow the wine did impart a kind of dessert-like quality; not quite cake, but rather a buttery, savory, and flake-y thing. If the wine had less of an a "I'm an alcoholic" name tag embedded in its essence, it would be more refreshing, more alive.

  March 2, 2012 - Ripe and chewy, but not in a good way. Hard to find any actual fruit here. Very short finish, but an overtly creamy mouthfeel.

  January 2, 2012 - Good Malbec. Dark purple almost opaque in color. Smooth silky feel with medium body and a smooth finish.
