  February 23, 2017 - The wine has low acidity. It smells like oak, tobacco, black pepper, plum, apricot, cinnamon, strawberry jam and bell pepper. The wine finishes medium. The wine looks brick colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. The wine has leathery texture.

  September 26, 2012 - Exceptional Zin. Huge nose of dark blue/black fruits with a nice layer of wood holding it all together. Big and rich but nicely balanced on the mouth. Really loved this.

  June 30, 2012 - Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and subtle cedar. Soft at first, then comes juicy black fruit with wonderfully balanced acidity. Soft and fine tannins. Will make a great food wine. This is a zin on another level.
