Roast apricot and vanilla too, which follow through on the palate which is mature and gentle, medium dry, with medium acidity. Bush honey and apricot flavours. Medium/long finish, medium weight. This was showing really well, with acidity keeping any cloying tendency at bay, and giving even presence along the tongue. That said, halves like this are likely at peak – a 750 may have a few years still in the tank.
