September 30, 2017 - Popped and poured, followed over an hour+, served with an onion tart. Faded red color with a good bit of bricking, definitely showing its age. Cherry and spice notes with a pleasant underlying earthy quality. Cherry and white currant on the palate, with tea and earth tones. Nice length in the finish. Started to fade after a couple of hours.

Spice on the nose but a little medicinal.
Good tannins, rounded and complex with slight acidity. Good wine but not going to be anything more than good. Begining to fade a little.
