Community Tasting Notes 4

August 11, 2013 - Opened 45 minutes before drinking. Still very pretty wine, no edges. Dark fruit and a little spice - next bottle needs to be open at least 2 hours before consuming.

January 19, 2013 - Elegant, subtle wine. Classic Nebbiolo flavors, with a persistent, mellow cherry showing through.

January 3, 2011 - This bottle was somewhat disappointing. The nose was wonderful and open with scents of anise and wildflowers and cherry. The taste was unbalanced with acid and tart fruit with a hint of anise and herbs.

November 12, 2009 - Seemed like old barrels or perhaps just a bit corked. Very Italian and old world. Just too musty to be better.
