January 5, 2013 - Ok, I'm late to the party. Had a case of this and down to last 2 bottles so had one tonight w robust ski meal. Just found it a bit non-descript though still very drinkable. Remember it being very much like the earlier reviews on the site. Just waited too long for the last 2.

November 16, 2009 - I would almost rate this higher, but trying to stay level-headed. This is such a great value wine--I'll always open this alongside higher priced wines at parties and without fail there are people that pick it as the favorite. This vintage is peaking right now, with rich flavors of dark fruits and a nice mouthfeel. Just had my last '04 and I wish I had another case.

November 2, 2009 - This has held up well. Opaque garnet. Definite spicebox on the nose along w/ dark fruit. Not much of the meaty/gamey nose that Mourverde usually has for me. Mid-weight mouthfeel w/ an okay finish. I think acidity and tannins are balanced.

April 18, 2009 - I liked it. Terrific QPR and has held up well to the cellaring. Nice dark plummy taste, but hints of cloves and cinnimon. Tannis were well rounded to a nice smooth moderate finish. This is a BBQ burger or sausage on a bun kind of wine, nothing fancy just good solid value.

March 9, 2009 - Wine is always good, especially for the price
