  February 22, 2024 - This was pretty good, and a fun change of pace for us. Ann had visited this winery many years ago. This showed slight herbal and spice notes. If I had tasted this blind, I may have guessed Bordeaux, as it didn't come across as rich and as big as many CA Cabs, which I appreciated.

  April 22, 2020 - This wine is still working to get a good score. The nose is spice filled. A medium weight mouthfeel with integrated tannins and aged dark fruit. Time to drink before it begins to fade more.

  March 7, 2019 - Camphor and strawberry on the nose. On the palate, black cherry and cassis, with a note of strawberry on the medium to long finish; this shows no detectable tannins and good acidity. This is surprisingly tasty, with a slight jammy liqueur note that contrasts nicely with the acidity on the finish. Although this is fully mature, and it is unlikely to improve, it should hold for a few years. Edit: On the second day this was starting to fall apart, with a slightly unpleasant cedar/oak note showing through the fading fruit. After five to seven years this will probably be headed downhill.
