June 9, 2011 - Not a particularly impressive nose -- faint cherry, wood, with a bit of spice. Light cherry fruit on the palate with good balance and integrated tannins. Interesting caramel finish. Wouldn't wait too long on this one; if the fruit fades, there won't be much left to this.

November 3, 2010 - Maremma IGT, a 'supertuscan' of sort, but not really, 100% montepulciano, has a nose of vibrant cherry, baking spices, and sweet oak. In the mouth chocolate covered cherries, good length, caramel finish, potential to improve with time, oak influence noted.
