October 5, 2007 - This is simply delicious. A dark ruby-purple and opaque, notes of vanilla, blueberries and cassis jump out of the glass. On the palate the tannins are fine but persistent, nicely balanced acidity with a fat midpalate of dark fruit and figs. Medium length. Not very complex but a crowd pleaser for sure. I see this wine evolving over the next 2-3 years and starting to decline in 4-5 years, but it's very nice now.
