February 3, 2016 - Despite some excessive wood, this is an outstanding wine with fruit transitioning to a secondary phase of dried cherry, tobacco, and tarragon. Long rich finish. There are acids and tannins and fruit enough to make me believe the wood will still come into balance. 92+

December 12, 2015 - Good rich purple red with slight lightening on the edge. Dark cherry, cocoa, roasted nut bouquet. Medium+ weight with black cherry fruit, roasted hazelnut, some oregano tones. Good acids and fine tannins with plenty of fruit to carry it. Lively with some length. 92
