October 7, 2021 - Bright, lively, not profound but balanced and cheerfully enjoyable. Drinking well but certainly no rush

March 29, 2015 - Mid ruby; brash, gushing with fruit, blackcurrant, hint of mint; palate reflects the nose; this makes a bold statement from start to finish. Subtle? No, but joyous.

November 12, 2012 - Great. Loved this one with a spicy Italian Turkey sausage. Dark purple color. Nice floral nose with black cherry and wet rocks. Big dark red fruit flavors with hefty tannins and black pepper flying out of the glass!! Can't wait to do another bottle of this for a more detailed tasting note.

November 11, 2012 - Decanted for several hours. Beauty of a deep purple color, nose of olive, pine, maple syrup, & dark fruits, light florals. Big tannins, taste of powerful spice & tart plum/cherry, dark brown sugar. Less blueberry than I remember the last time around. It lightened a bit with food, became silky & delicious with a spicy Italian sausage dish. Still in love....

April 9, 2012 - The 3rd night was actually the best. Deeper, more concentrated fruit, although the overly-aggressive tannins have not receded. On night 1, it seemed a pallid imitation of the Pasanau's pricier Finca la Planeta. I'd save up for the latter.
