Community Tasting Notes 3

January 18, 2007 - Nicely balanced wine hiding its slightly high alcohol. Lovely floral nose with taste of honeysuckly and lime. Nice level of acidity. Holding on nicely since I expected it to be over the hill.

September 5, 2006 - yum. Walks the fine line between honey and nerve. No flab, a lean precise viogier...

May 19, 2006 - Mmmmm . . . yummy, yummy, yummy. This was a Viognier for Chardonnay lovers. The straw color of a Viognier, but the heft and punch of a fine Chard. Wonderful from the first drop right after opening to the last nearly two hours later. Notes of nutmeg and clove, atop a lime-scented backbone. Once again, Wells Guthrie shows his mettle; marvelous! (Enjoyed with the first pesto of the spring.)
