September 3, 2020 - Beautiful golden color.
Surprised by this one. Much more straw than I was anticipating. Fresh and crisp chardonnay with gentle tartness and a rich body with honey sweet cream. -

April 10, 2017 - Thought I'd kill the last bottle of these...little worried after seeing the 09 assessment tasting last month. The most tropical and creamed with butter to date...not poxed, but showing a little more honeyed notes than last bottle couple years ago? Some reduction smoked vanilla bean, sautéed apple, citrus infused oil...an opulent wine, but does have sneaky cut of fresh lemon/grapefruit acidity, as well as a pepper spice kick. Crushed minerals giving up some exotics...pretty peach blossom florals. Well...Seems to be aging at a faster pace than it should, but still at this stage a nice drink. Definitely more opulent and tropical than the Puligny's. I think this is my last 09 white burg...which is fine with me.

July 5, 2015 - Akatora: Normally I am a fan of reduction in White Burg, but this was over-the-top and almost completely obscured the wine; volatile and fumey, very round and a bit fat lower acidity didn't help. Really not that unpleasant, but a little bizarre.
