July 30, 2021 - Accomasso Tasting plus some great Barolo Pirates (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** all wines tasted blind ***
    Glass: Zwiesel 1872 Moment Pinot
Clean, medium ruby-garnet color. Clean, classic Barolo nose, floral, tar, deep.
Dry, high acidity, high tannin. Lots of ripe red fruit, tar, spices. Juicy, fresh, deep and dense. Beautiful elegance and very long. Still young with great potential. 93++

September 26, 2008 - Noticeably less obvious fruit, and more tertiary traits than other wines tasted on this trip to Piemonte, though the wineries visited were definitely cross-spectrum iro trad vs. modernist. This style though is fine by me, as it really accentuated the ethereal character that is so appealing in nebbiolo.
