December 6, 2011 - This is one of those wines that way over delivers for the price. This may be the lowest priced wine I have ever reviewed. My though process in buying this wine was that "how do you screw up Chenin Blanc"? It even has 20% Chardonnay to give it some backbone and it seems to work. Very golden color. Has an earthy, lemon and fresh cut apple nose. Very nice mouth feel. More than adequate lemon, apple and citrus fruit. My only complaint is a very pronounced, partially artificial, Granny Smith apple acidity which overpowers the fruit, and leaves the palate a little too dry on the finish. Tastes best at a temperature as cool as you can handle.

June 29, 2011 - Surprisingly good for the price. Floral and mineral notes from Chenin Blanc. Some apple, probably from the chardonnay. It's got a tartness from acidity. The finish is pretty short and it's a bit thin, but it's easy drinking, smells great, and costs $4.

June 23, 2011 - I think surfer.prof is right on with his review. This $5 bottle tastes like a $9 bottle. Chenin blanc is an intriguing variety even when it is cheap. The hint of minerality and decently balanced wine is a great value and would probably make amazing white sangria.
