February 20, 2021 - dark red, garnet rim - blackberry and cassis nose, some graphite and oak, but not much complexity - the beauty of this wine is in the mouth, with a really nice balance of fruit, acid and ripe tannins - short but smooth 5-10 sec finish - great food wine, but I had hoped for more complex aromas and flavors after 15 years

May 10, 2014 - Very nice perfumed nose showing some age. Dense and concentrated, good fruit flavors, nicely balanced. Smooth medium length finish. Drinking well now.
