2014 Château Malescot St. Exupéry

Thursday, September 29, 2022 - Similar to my critique 2 years ago, the wine exhibited dark cherry, some eucalyptus, licorice, blackberry, floral notes, slight vanilla and earth. Earth on the nose along with tobacco and leather. Medium body. Medium, but smooth tannins. Acidity has dissipated since my last tasting. 2 hour decant also made quite a difference.
