Saturday, February 4, 2023 - Old school? I’m in. This is unbelievable value for an introductory level bordeaux. Lots of young tobacco notes intermixed with savory, chocolaty, and toasted herbaceous Cabernet notes that are laced into graphite. This is serious shit for the modest price. When we speak of terroir, this is what we are trying to say.
Very Saint Julien in character but also reminds me of d’armailhac in a good vintage. Buy! Drink or hold
