Monday, May 23, 2016 - We tasted at the winery tasting room, a truly enjoyable experience. A big wine with a stellar Napa Valley pedigree. Has some of that earthy, rustic wet tree bark taste. Rich dark purple color. Superb balance. Intense, concentrated, vibrant, plum and blackberry fruit. Precise tannins. Integrated. Even a hint if cocoa with graphite. Gets better with each sip, can only imagine what some cellaring this wine could accomplish.
