Sunday, January 24, 2010 - First nose was slightly dusty, but the wine was very cold. As it warmed up cherries and prunes, and some eucalyptus notes. The palate starts with more cherries and their pits, some licorice and spice and present but finessed tannins that support the fruity richness of the wine. I bought this in Buenos Aires for less than $5 American, and frankly what a bargain! It you can find this anywhere for under $20 it is well worth it. Well-balanced and generally just delicious.
