The palate starts with more cherries and their pits, some licorice and spice and present but finessed tannins that support the fruity richness of the wine. I bought this in Buenos Aires for less than $5 American, and frankly what a bargain! It you can find this anywhere for under $20 it is well worth it. Well-balanced and generally just delicious.
