Wednesday, April 6, 2011 - Popped and poured and drank over two hours. Inky dark purple in the glass. Nose of plums, with tobacco, currants, mint and eucalyptus. Mixed red fruits on the palate, with pipe tobacco, spice box, cocoa and the hint of cola I often get from Washington State wines. Medium plus finish. Drinking well, with better days (and higher scores) ahead.
