Wednesday, May 11, 2011 - Found a few of these when reorganizing the cellar ... This was a delightful northern CA Chardonnay, but is just beginning to show its age. Color is a slightly deeper gold and the nose shows just a trace of volatility that, to me, is a precursor to maderization. Meduim-bodied with rich fruit flavors, and some remaining crispness. Still very nice, but I think this has crested the hill and is heading downward. My remaining bottles will be opened sooner rather than later.
