Medium-full bodied palate: black cherry, plum, and spice. Smooth tannins. Slightly dusty medium length finish. Nice QPR. Plenty of further aging potential – I’d recommend holding any remaining bottles of the 2009 for a couple years and I wouldn’t even think about touching the new 2010 release yet. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable mid-week red.
