Saturday, August 25, 2012 - Nat cork. A pretty, dark ruby color. Blackberry and rhubarb on a pretty nose, ever so slightly candied, almost a birch beer note, high toned and a bit of glycerin but not offputting. Some peppery spice as well. A lovely tasting wine with ripe fruit - slightly skitteled but fun, the alc is perceptible but not overpowering, nice pepper note builds through the palate.
