Sunday, May 3, 2015 - Wonderful effort by Mike Smith and atypical for Napa's 2011 vintage. A garnet/purple color with blue fruit aromatics with an initial taste of soft blue fruit with a slight sweetness. Transition is pure quality with distinctive blue fruit taste, low acidity and a bit of a short finish due to the vintage. Best Napa 2011 I've had to date.
