Monday, August 22, 2016 - Enjoyed over 2 days. Nose is soft raspberry jam (muted, not bright) and rose and floral notes, with a hint of spice (dare I say - white pepper)... Palate is same muted raspberry/strawberry jam, smoky, and a some earthy tones. A little tart at the finish, with some acidity. Medium finish.
I really like the wine... and at $19 it has a great QPR!

My local store will do an internal transfer no matter where in the state the excess stock sits. A great way to punch up the QPR in an otherwise "controlled" state market.
