Monday, December 5, 2016 - - Brick color with slow forming legs and aromas of cherry, vanilla and cedar. It's balanced and has flavours of cherry, black currant and blackberry with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Decanted four hours. The wine lost its edge and gained its body over the time. The cedar nose is slight pencil shavings. Loved this wine; served with pork chops with root beer sauce, thank you chef Emeril Lagasse, a perfect match!
Slight sediment thrown, I think another 7-10 years in cellar.
